External Event Option:
External Event Description:
Some applications require externally wired event inputs, and we've worked on a way to provide a solution.
The Evo3 can have interface circuitry and a connector fitted that will accept a commonly available cable assembly. We provide a 2-metre cable, a breakout terminal board, and an insulated housing with this option.
The cable can easily be unplugged, so the Evo3 can be used as a normal standalone logger as well as a hardwired event logger.
The external events can be activated by wiring a switch between the event input and ground. In the photo above, the event inputs are the white and yellow wires. Common Ground is the black wire. The red wire is a spare, so it can be configured in various ways as the need arises.
