ALL-XM8 Serial Data Logger
Based on our proven GPS Data Logger, this serial data logger is a small, robust unit which records serial (RS232) data from almost any source. It is a convenient, economical alternative to using a laptop computer, especially in field applications where theft or loss of an expensive laptop may be of concern.
Designed with the professional user in mind, this product is field-configurable and uses a standard 9V alkaline battery. A 9V alkaline battery will last for 10 days of constant operation, much longer than a laptop or PDA.
Good for field work where low weight and small size are of great importance. The system can be powered from an external source, for longer in-field endurance.
